Pittsburgh Tank Corporation has the ability to fabricate an immense variety
of custom-built products and components from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Located 25 miles south of Pittsburgh in Monongahela, PA, our 80,000 sq. ft. facility is divided
into four buildings.
The main building consists of two bays. The main fabrication bay is 100' wide and 600' long,
with an under hook height of 33'. The material handling capabilities of this bay consist of
four top running, full span bridge cranes, ranging from 30 to 5 ton capacities. There are two
under hung bridge cranes that run underneath the main cranes; these cranes span half the width
of the building, and have a five ton capacity.
The second bay in the main building runs perpendicular to the first bay. The bay is 40' wide
and 100' long, with a 25-ton crane. The under hook height in this bay is 65', with four 20'x20'
roll up doors located in the rear. This building is used for preassembly of large weldments and
factory installations of equipment.
The second building is our dedicated painting facility. It is 60' wide and 175' long, with two
15-ton cranes. There are two 18'x18' doors located in the rear of the building that exits
to our four acre storage area.
The third and fourth buildings consist of 9,500 sq. ft. of office space, and our dedicated
process equipment testing center.
