Fuel Cell Modules
Pittsburgh Tank is a premier fabricator and supplier of molten carbonate fuel cell modules, which are an ultra-clean, distributed power source that is powered by an electro-chemical reaction that is based on various fuels such as natural gas or biogas. These modules are used in various applications such as utility-scale and on-site power generation, carbon capture, local hydrogen production for both transportation and industry, and long duration energy storage.
Fuel cell modules are engineered and fabricated to each site's requirements as determined by the customer. Modules can be singular or grouped over the process equipment to provide efficient material flow. Modules can be fabricated from carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum, and come with a full line of optional accessories, including access ladders, platforms, and other structures based on the customer's requirements.
